Everyone at First United Lutheran Church takes part in the ministry of the Church and the Body of Christ. Each has their own gifts and passions that they bring to the table. Our council is a small reflection of this larger ministry, and serves as the main administrative and decision-making body of the community. We constantly give thanks for John, Sue, Debbie, Susan, Doug, and Suzan for their leadership!

Pastor

The Rev. Aaron Decker is a Yankee, originally, but says he's finding Texas to be a joyful place to live. He moved here to study at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, where he is now a first-year Ph.D. candidate in biblical studies, focusing on Old Testament. He has served congregations in Worcester, MA and Reading, PA; studied in Princeton, NJ and Chicago, IL; and taught in Seremban, Malaysia and La Paz, Bolivia. Aaron enjoys knitting, computer programming, and classical music, and lives in Fort Worth with his cat, Moses.
